This hotel was perfect for our nine day stay in March. Our room with a king bed, tall ceilings and a small balcony with table and chairs, was very clean and very comfortable.
The accessories included a small refrigerator which we stocked with items from local shops, a capsule espresso machine, and a basket of toasts and biscuits. Just outside our bedroom window stood the ruins of the Excubitorium of the Seventh Cohort, a second century AD Roman district police headquarters. Fantastic to be able to look at your own piece of ancient Rome about ten feet away.
The bathroom included shower with a rain shower head, a pedestal sink, toilet and bidet, and with it’s own view of the Excubitorium. The hotel is managed by two exceptionally pleasant, thoughtful young women, Michaela and Elisa, who will gladly help you find anything.
On our day of departure, my wife forgot her passport, we had to double back to the room at 6:30 AM. Michaele very kindly buzzed us in and unlocked our door so we could recover the passport.
