Our stay at A Trastevere da M.E. was outstanding. Our room was new, spacious, and stylishly modeled. The location was excellent… a half hour walk would get you to the Colloseum or St. Peters. Even though it is along a major throughfare, and there was an annual celebration going on in the night, our room was quiet.

But the best thing about our stay was the hospitality and generosity of Elisa, one of the owners. Not only did she give us good advice on where to eat, etc., she accompanied me to the local police station to help fill out forms after my wallet was pick-pocketed.

While the loss of the wallet was not pleasant, she took time from her day to make it as painless as possible.
